What it does

This skill teaches an AI agent to read stablecoin data (such as USDT and USDC supply, minting and burning, reserves held on exchanges, and on-chain transfer activity) as a rough signal of money moving into or out of crypto markets. Once installed, the agent frames answers around these indicators, applies the thresholds and tables written in the file, and combines them into a composite liquidity score. It is an interpretation guide, not a live data feed: the file contains example figures and rules of thumb, and the agent would need its own data source to analyse current conditions.

Great for

  • Crypto traders or analysts who want a structured framework for stablecoin-based market context
  • Students or researchers learning how stablecoin supply is used as a liquidity proxy
  • Developers building a dashboard or report that scores stablecoin flows

Skip it if

  • Making trading or investment decisions on its own: the signals are heuristic, the thresholds are unvalidated rules of thumb, and the file itself presents correlations without sources, so acting on them carries real financial risk
  • Getting current prices or supply figures: the hardcoded numbers in the file are snapshots and will be out of date, and the skill does not fetch live data
  • Regulatory, tax or accounting questions about stablecoins, which are outside what this file covers

Try asking

  • “Analyse whether USDT and USDC supply changed meaningfully over the last 30 days and what that suggests about liquidity”
  • “Explain what a large net mint event on Tether would typically signal under this framework”
  • “Compare exchange stablecoin reserve trends against BTC price action and describe the four-way interpretation”
  • “Calculate stablecoin dominance from market cap figures I provide and say whether it reads as high or low cash allocation”

Install in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Download the skill

    The ZIP contains the 1 original files, the MIT licence and an attribution note.

    stablecoin-flow.zip
  2. 2

    Add it to your agent

    Claude Code (all projects)

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip stablecoin-flow.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/

    Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip stablecoin-flow.zip -d .claude/skills/

    Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

    No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Provide your own up-to-date data and ask the agent to apply the framework to it, rather than relying on the example figures in the file
  • Ask the agent to state the assumptions and limits of each signal, since the thresholds are not backed by cited research in the file
  • Use it alongside other market analysis and treat outputs as one input, not a trading recommendation
