What it does

Once installed, the agent acts as a social-media planner. Given your industry, audience and platforms, it first proposes a few fixed content themes (pillars) for you to approve, then builds a four-week posting calendar as an Excel workbook. It then writes a week of ready-to-publish copy in each platform's style, such as a RedNote or Instagram post, a TikTok script, a LinkedIn article and an X/Threads post, saved as a Markdown document.

Great for

  • Small brand or founder accounts that need a consistent monthly posting plan
  • Marketers adapting one product message for several platforms at once
  • Creators who want a structured calendar and first-week drafts

Skip it if

  • Medical, financial or education-outcome claims, where platform rules and advertising law need expert review (the skill only flags these risks, it does not check them)
  • Accounts that need real performance figures or customer reviews, since the skill uses placeholders unless you supply the data
  • Trend-chasing campaigns, because the skill is told to skip trends unrelated to the brand but cannot verify live trend timeliness

Try asking

  • “Plan a one-month content calendar for this account”
  • “Rewrite this product message into RedNote, TikTok and LinkedIn versions”
  • “Draft the first week of posts for my B2B software company on LinkedIn and X”
Step-by-step guide: how to use Social Media Content CalendarInstall, first run, examples, tips and FAQs

Install in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Download the skill

    The ZIP contains the 1 original files, the Apache-2.0 licence and an attribution note.

    social-media.zip
  2. 2

    Add it to your agent

    Claude Code (all projects)

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip social-media.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/

    Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip social-media.zip -d .claude/skills/

    Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

    No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Give the agent your platforms, goal, weekly posting frequency, and your three best-performing recent posts before starting.
  • Approve the content pillars before the calendar is built, since the workflow waits for confirmation at that step.
  • Supply your own figures and reviews; otherwise expect [add real data] placeholders and fill them in before publishing.
