What it does
When installed, this skill makes the agent follow a structured academic writing method: it first clarifies the research story (task, technical problem, contribution, evidence needed), builds section outlines where each paragraph carries one point, and checks that every key claim in the abstract and introduction is backed by experiments, data, or sources. It also asks the agent to review the draft from a skeptical reviewer's viewpoint and to mark weakly supported claims as needing evidence rather than hiding gaps with stronger wording. It is a writing-guidance template, not a source of research results.
Great for
- Graduate students drafting a thesis chapter or conference paper
- Researchers who want a reviewer-style check of their argument flow
- Writers producing technical or academic content who need clear section structure
Skip it if
- Fabricating citations or results: the skill forbids inventing references or numbers, but users must still verify all sources themselves, since the agent may still produce errors
- Non-academic creative writing, where the rigid paper structure would be unhelpful
Try asking
- “Help me outline a method section for my paper on graph neural networks, with one idea per paragraph”
- “Review my introduction and flag any claims that lack supporting evidence”
- “Draft a related-work section grouped by technical theme and state how my approach differs”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Provide your actual data, experiment results, and citations so the agent can map each claim to evidence instead of guessing
- Ask for the reverse-outline check after drafting to catch paragraphs that do not support the main thesis
- Verify every reference and number the agent outputs against the original sources before submission
