What it does

Once installed, this skill teaches the agent how to add new skills to its own workspace. When you give it a SKILL.md file, a link, or a zip archive, it fetches the content, finds the skill's name, and copies the whole folder into the agent's skills directory. It can also walk you through building a new skill from scratch, using bundled scripts that generate a template, check the format, and package the folder into a .skill file.

  • Review any fetched SKILL.md and its scripts before installing, especially from unfamiliar URLs or archives
  • Give a clear description with trigger phrases in the frontmatter, since that field decides when the skill is used
  • Run quick_validate.py after creating or editing a skill to catch frontmatter errors early
