What it does
Once installed, the agent walks you through building a new agent skill: pinning down use cases, choosing trigger phrases, writing the SKILL.md frontmatter and instructions, and organising optional scripts and reference files. It can also review an existing skill that never triggers or triggers too often, and run a bundled Python validator that checks naming, frontmatter length, forbidden content and body size before you share the skill.
Great for
- Developers who want to package a repeated workflow as a reusable agent skill
- Teams reviewing or fixing skills that load at the wrong times
- Anyone publishing a skill who wants a checklist-style validation before sharing
Skip it if
- General prompt writing or editing ordinary markdown files, which the skill itself says it should not be used for
- Building MCP servers, which is explicitly out of scope
- Non-technical users who only want to use an existing skill rather than author one, since the workflow assumes folder and file editing
Try asking
- “Create a skill for turning our weekly report workflow into a reusable skill”
- “Review my existing SKILL.md because it never triggers when I ask about invoices”
- “Validate my skill folder before I share it with the team”
- “Write a SKILL.md description with good trigger phrases for a code-review skill”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Give the agent 2-3 concrete example requests up front so the description gets literal trigger phrases
- Run the validator after every edit and fix all ERRORs; treat WARNINGs as review prompts
- Ask the agent 'When would you use the [name] skill?' to check whether the description triggers correctly
