What it does

When installed, the agent reviews a sales pipeline the way a forecast call would: it builds a rollup of open deals by forecast category and stage, flags risky or stale deals, and suggests changes to forecast categories and follow-up actions. The initial review is read-only, so it does not change CRM records, close dates, tasks or messages. It asks you to confirm the scope and the data source before producing a posture review, and it pulls in meeting notes, email or internal messages only for a few high-value deals where that evidence would change the call.

Great for

  • Sales managers or RevOps staff preparing a weekly or quarterly forecast call
  • Sellers who want a risk check on their own book before a manager review
  • Teams that export pipeline snapshots and want a structured readout

Skip it if

  • Teams without a CRM report or exported pipeline data, since the skill refuses to infer a forecast from anecdotes (the data is the foundation of the output)
  • Anyone expecting it to change CRM records automatically; the initial review is read-only by design but follow-up actions still require the user to act

Try asking

  • “Review my Q3 forecast for the Startups team and flag deals at risk of slipping out of Commit.”
  • “Prepare a forecast-call summary for the EMEA pipeline using this CRM report export.”
  • “Which deals in my book have stale close dates and weak next steps?”
  • “Compare this week's pipeline snapshot to last week's and show forecast movement.”

Install in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Download the skill

    The ZIP contains the 3 original files, the MIT licence and an attribution note.

    review-forecast.zip
  2. 2

    Add it to your agent

    Claude Code (all projects)

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip review-forecast.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/

    Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip review-forecast.zip -d .claude/skills/

    Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

    No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Name the exact scope up front (owner book, team, report or deal set) and the forecast truth source, so the agent does not have to ask.
  • Provide your company's forecast category definitions and amount basis; the skill will not guess Commit or Upside norms.
  • Supply a prior snapshot if you want real movement analysis, since field history alone is not treated as forecast movement.
