What it does
When you ask for a test report, the agent runs your Playwright end-to-end browser tests if there are no recent results, reads the pass, fail, skip and flaky counts, and lists the failing tests with their error messages. It saves a markdown report to a test-reports folder and, if the matching settings exist, also posts a summary to Slack or pushes results to TestRail. It can compare results with earlier reports to show trends.
Great for
- Developers who use Playwright and want a quick status summary without reading raw output
- QA engineers who want results posted automatically to Slack or TestRail
- Teams that want a saved markdown history of test runs
Skip it if
- Projects that do not use Playwright, since the steps assume its commands and reporters (the skill would not produce useful results)
- Running against production or shared environments without checking first, because the skill executes test commands and may post results to team channels
Try asking
- “Show me the test report for today's run”
- “How did the tests go? Give me a results summary”
- “Post the test results to Slack”
- “Which tests became flaky compared with the last few reports?”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Run it from the root of your Playwright project so the test-results and playwright-report folders are found
- Check the Slack and TestRail settings before running, since the skill posts to them automatically when those variables are set
- Review the generated test-reports folder if you want to keep historical data for trend analysis
