What it does

This skill helps an AI agent set up an already-built agent so it runs on its own, either on a repeating schedule (for example every morning), when an external event fires a web request, or only when asked. It checks the cron schedule and timezone, builds the payload needed to create a scheduled deployment on Anthropic's Managed Agent platform, and writes a roadmap file (NEXT-DIRECTIONS.md) for future upgrades. It is designed to be used after the agent has been built and graded, and it tells the user to run one manual test before trusting the schedule.

Get better results

  • Always fire one manual run and read the verdict before leaving the cron in place
  • Avoid 02:00-03:00 local times in DST timezones if each run must happen exactly once
  • Set safety limits yourself (always_ask tools, limited networking, max iterations, spend limit), because CMA has no built-in spend cap
