What it does
When you ask it to review your Playwright tests, the agent reads your test files and checks them against a list of 20 common mistakes, such as fixed-time waits, fragile selectors, and tests that depend on each other. It then gives each file a score from 1 to 10, lists the problems by severity with line numbers, and offers to apply the fixes after you approve them. It also points out coverage gaps, meaning pages or features that have no tests.
Great for
- Developers maintaining an end-to-end test suite that has become flaky or hard to read
- Teams wanting a consistent quality check on Playwright tests before merging
- Engineers new to Playwright who want guidance on web-first assertions and role-based selectors
Skip it if
- Projects that do not use Playwright, since the anti-patterns and checks are specific to it
- Reviewing very large suites without care, because parallel sub-agent review and automatic edits can change many files at once; review the proposed diffs before accepting
- Non-developers, since the output assumes familiarity with test code and selectors
Try asking
- “Review tests in tests/checkout.spec.ts and tell me what is flaky”
- “Audit tests across my whole project and give me a summary table of scores”
- “Check test quality for the login flow and suggest missing error-case tests”
- “Improve tests in e2e/ and show me the corrected code for critical issues”

No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Start with a single file or folder rather than the whole project to keep the review focused and reviewable
- Read the proposed fixes before answering Yes, since the skill edits files directly when you approve
- Treat scores as a rough guide; the anti-pattern list is opinionated and some warnings may not fit your project's conventions
