What it does
This skill makes the agent act as a privacy policy checker for a legal or compliance team. In sweep mode it reads saved privacy impact assessments, data processing agreements and triage results, finds practices the published policy doesn't cover or misstates, and drafts suggested replacement wording. In direct-query mode you describe a planned new data practice and it tells you whether the policy covers it, is missing it, or conflicts with it. It also checks related notices such as app store labels, cookie banners and sector-specific notices.
Great for
- In-house privacy or legal teams keeping a policy current with product changes
- Compliance staff who want a quick check before launching a new data feature
- Privacy professionals who need draft policy language to review with counsel
Skip it if
- Individuals or small businesses wanting a final legal opinion, since the output is a draft for review by a qualified lawyer
- Teams without configured outputs folders or policy documents, since sweep mode depends on them and the skill refers to a separate setup step
- Scheduled automatic runs, because the skill itself says scheduling needs an integration that is not bundled
Try asking
- “Does our privacy policy cover using behavioral data to personalize onboarding emails?”
- “Run the policy monitor sweep on this week's PIAs and DPA reviews.”
- “We want to start sharing usage data with a new analytics vendor. Does the policy need updating?”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Run the cold-start interview first so the outputs folder and policy document paths are set; otherwise only direct-query mode works.
- Treat the suggested language as a first draft and have qualified counsel review it before publishing.
- Describe proposed practices specifically (data categories, purposes, vendors, retention) to get a more precise gap analysis.
