What it does
When installed, this skill teaches an AI agent how to read a bounded bundle of recent Paperclip project activity (issue titles, comments, and document bodies) and rewrite it as durable wiki pages: a project standup, a project overview, decisions, and history. It asks the agent to explain what a project is, what was decided, what is at risk, and where it stands now, rather than producing a dated list of issues. It also forbids reading attachments, work products, or linked URLs, and requires writing only to the default wiki space.
Great for
- Teams running Paperclip who want an LLM Wiki kept up to date from project activity
- Operators running cursor-window, backfill, or manual distill operations
- Maintainers who want project pages written as narrative rather than templated logs
Skip it if
- Distilling raw files or answering questions: the file says those tasks belong to the wiki-ingest and wiki-query skills
- Extracting content from attachments or work products, which the skill explicitly blocks until a separate approved policy exists
- Users without a Paperclip instance and LLM Wiki setup, since the skill has no use outside that workflow
Try asking
- “Run a cursor-window distill for the project tied to this operation issue and update its standup”
- “Backfill the wiki with the historical activity of a root issue”
- “Trigger a manual distill-paperclip-now from the UI for one project”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Make sure the operation issue carries spaceSlug default, because the skill stops and comments on any other slug
- Let the agent read existing standup and index pages first so it patches rather than rewrites accepted decisions
- Ask for attachment or work-product content only through the Phase 5 security gate policy, not this skill
