What it does
When installed, the agent stops and asks a founder six questions covering problem, customer, distribution, defensibility, capital, and founder fit, and wants written answers before offering strategy advice. It then writes a one-page brief with the founder's answers and rates the idea green, yellow, or red. The skill is a thinking discipline built into a prompt, not a data tool.
Great for
- Startup founders who have a vague idea and want it challenged before spending money
- Teams preparing a strategy brief or fundraising pitch
- Advisors who want a structured intake step before multi-role discussion
Skip it if
- Routine tasks or quick factual questions, since the six-question gate adds friction and is not designed for them
- Non-business decisions, because the framework assumes a company, customers and capital
- Users who want the agent to just answer: the skill deliberately withholds advice until the questions are answered
Try asking
- “/c-level-agents:office-hours should we grow faster?”
- “/c-level-agents:office-hours launch a paid community for our newsletter readers”
- “Run office hours on our plan to enter the European market before drafting a strategy brief”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Answer each of the six questions in writing with concrete names, numbers and channels; vague answers will trigger a yellow or red rating.
- Use it before fundraising or a pivot, not after the decision is already made.
- Treat excitement as a signal to run the questions more carefully, as the skill itself recommends.
