What it does

When installed, the agent follows a structured playbook for code reviews split across several quality areas such as security, performance, architecture, testing and accessibility. It helps choose which of those areas to assign for a given change, merges duplicate findings from different reviewers, rates severity using consistent criteria, and formats everything into a standard consolidated review report. It is a set of instructions and templates rather than a tool that inspects code by itself.

Great for

  • Engineering leads organizing a review of a large pull request across several specialist reviewers
  • Teams that want consistent severity ratings and a uniform review report format
  • Developers running several AI reviewer passes on the same code who need the results combined cleanly

Skip it if

  • Quick single-pass reviews where the overhead of multiple dimensions is unnecessary
  • Teams needing automated scanning, since the skill contains no analysis tools and relies on the agent's own review work
  • Security-critical sign-off on its own, because severity guidance is generic and not a substitute for a qualified audit

Try asking

  • “Organize a multi-dimensional review of this API endpoint change covering security, performance and architecture”
  • “Deduplicate and merge these three reviewer reports into one consolidated findings list”
  • “Calibrate the severity of these findings using consistent criteria”
  • “Which review dimensions should I assign to a database migration?”
Step-by-step guide: how to use Multi-Reviewer PatternsInstall, first run, examples, tips and FAQs

Install in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Download the skill

    The ZIP contains the 2 original files, the MIT licence and an attribution note.

    multi-reviewer-patterns.zip
  2. 2

    Add it to your agent

    Claude Code (all projects)

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip multi-reviewer-patterns.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/

    Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip multi-reviewer-patterns.zip -d .claude/skills/

    Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

    No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Give the agent the exact files, PR or directory to review so the report's target and file references are accurate
  • Ask for the dimension recommendation table first, then run only the dimensions that fit the change to keep reviews focused
  • Review the agent's severity ratings yourself, since the calibration rules are guidance and the agent may still misjudge context
