What it does
Once installed, the agent helps you work out how a product or feature could earn money. It proposes three to five distinct business models (such as freemium, subscription, usage-based, seat-based, one-time purchase, marketplace fees or advertising), then assesses each for audience fit, rough unit economics, risks, and competitive position. It finishes by suggesting a low-cost experiment to test whether customers will actually pay and recommends one or two options to try first.
Great for
- Founders or product managers deciding how to charge for a new product
- Teams weighing pricing options before building a paywall or billing system
- Anyone wanting a structured checklist for comparing revenue models
Skip it if
- Precise financial forecasting: the skill asks for CAC, LTV and margin estimates but has no data source, so the numbers will be guesses that need checking against real figures
- Legal, tax or accounting decisions on pricing or revenue recognition, which require a professional
Try asking
- “Brainstorm monetization strategies for my note-taking app aimed at students”
- “What revenue model fits a B2B API with variable usage? Compare pricing strategies”
- “How should I monetize a free design template library? Suggest validation experiments”

Get better results
- Give the agent your product description, target customer, and any known budget or willingness-to-pay data so suggestions are grounded.
- State your company priority (revenue growth, user growth, or profitability) because the skill ranks options against it.
- Treat the unit economics and conversion figures it cites as starting assumptions and validate them with real customer tests.
