Writes Markdown prose on single lines so diffs stay clean and text reflows in any viewer.

What it does
When this skill is installed, the agent stops breaking prose lines at a fixed width like 72 or 80 characters when it writes or edits Markdown files. Each paragraph stays on one line and the viewer wraps it to fit the screen. Code blocks, headings, tables and intentional line breaks are left alone, and existing files are not reformatted unless the user asks.
Great for
- Developers who keep READMEs, ADRs, or PR descriptions in Git and want readable diffs
- Teams whose Markdown is reviewed on GitHub or docs sites rather than in raw terminals
- Anyone who has noticed the agent hard-wrapping prose and wants it to stop
Skip it if
- Projects that enforce a fixed column width for Markdown source via a linter or style guide, since this skill would conflict with that rule
- Plain-text workflows where raw source is read in a terminal without soft wrapping, because long lines become hard to read there
Try asking
- “Write a README for this project and keep paragraphs unwrapped”
- “Edit docs/adr-004.md to remove the manual line breaks in the paragraphs”
- “Draft a PR body for these changes without hard wrapping at 80 columns”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Ask explicitly if a specific file should keep a fixed column width, since the skill defers to the user in that case.
- Check existing project style guides; if they require wrapping, state that in your request so the agent follows the project rule instead.
