What it does

When installed, the agent evaluates the people running a company (or a named executive) rather than only the financials. It checks whether past promises were kept, how management handled crises, how they have spent shareholder money on acquisitions, buybacks and dividends, and how the ownership and pay structure is set up. It ends with a weighted score across integrity, ability, capital allocation and governance, plus a yes-or-no style verdict based on whether you would trust this person with your money for 10 years.

Great for

  • Investors who think management quality is the core reason to buy or avoid a stock
  • Analysts whose standard research leaves management quality unclear
  • Students learning how to evaluate leadership using public records

Skip it if

  • Quick price or valuation checks, since the skill focuses on people and governance rather than financial models (it is a deep, slow analysis)
  • Private individuals making decisions about real people, since it relies on public web searches and opinion sites such as employee reviews, which can be biased or inaccurate
  • Anyone expecting a reliable buy/sell recommendation, because the scores are subjective judgments built from web sources the agent must interpret

Try asking

  • “Do a deep management assessment of Berkshire Hathaway's CEO and capital allocation record”
  • “Evaluate the integrity and governance of this company, including promise-vs-delivery tracking: [ticker]”
  • “Score management of this stock across integrity, ability, capital allocation and governance”
  • “Check related-party transactions and executive compensation for this company before I invest”
Step-by-step guide: how to use Management Deep DiveInstall, first run, examples, tips and FAQs

Install in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Download the skill

    The ZIP contains the 1 original files, the MIT licence and an attribution note.

    management-deep-dive.zip
  2. 2

    Add it to your agent

    Claude Code (all projects)

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip management-deep-dive.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/

    Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip management-deep-dive.zip -d .claude/skills/

    Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

    No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Give a specific company name or ticker and, if relevant, the executive's name, so the agent can identify the right people in Step 1
  • Treat the scores as a structured starting point and verify key claims (promises, buyback dates, related-party deals) against the original SEC filings yourself
  • Ask for the evidence behind each rating, since many table cells depend on web sources that may be incomplete or outdated
