What it does
This skill teaches an AI coding agent how to manage a maintainer's queue when there are several independent issues, pull requests, or repositories to handle at once. It first checks whether the request is really a single item; if so, the agent just does the work directly without spinning up extra helpers. For genuine multi-item batches, it writes down an explicit scope, assigns one worker per repository, protects any unsaved local work, and serializes public actions like pushes, PR updates, merges and releases so they do not conflict.
Great for
- Open-source maintainers handling many issues or PRs across several repositories
- Teams that want an agent to run a structured triage or batch sweep with clear owner decisions
- People who want an agent to avoid touching dirty or unmerged local work
Skip it if
- Fixing or reviewing a single issue or PR, since the skill explicitly says to skip orchestration for that (it adds overhead, not value)
- Anyone wanting unattended ongoing repository changes without reviewing the scope first, because persistent monitoring and automatic queue refill can be enabled by the user's wording and may act on public repositories
Try asking
- “Triage these five open issues across our two repos and tell me which ones you can fix autonomously”
- “Run a maintainer sweep over the PRs I named and prepare them for landing, but ask me before any merge”
- “Coordinate the release-blocking issues in our portfolio and serialize all pushes to main”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- State the exact repositories and issue or PR numbers up front so the agent does not widen the scope.
- Say explicitly whether you want one-shot work or ongoing monitoring; persistent heartbeats only start when you ask for them.
- Review the scope contract the agent writes at activation before letting it push or merge anything.
