What it does
When installed, the agent interprets economic indicators such as GDP, CPI, PMI, interest rates and exchange rates for China, the US and Europe. It uses fixed thresholds and a four-stage cycle model (recovery, overheat, stagflation, recession) to place the economy in a stage, reads central-bank statements from the PBOC, Fed and ECB, and then proposes which major asset classes to overweight or underweight. The output follows a set report template with a data snapshot and cycle assessment.
Great for
- Investment analysts or students who want a structured first pass at a macro view
- People who already understand macro terms and want a consistent checklist for reviewing central-bank policy
- Anyone building a macro briefing who wants the same framework applied each time
Skip it if
- Making actual trades or allocations without independent verification: the thresholds are generic rules of thumb, not validated forecasts, and the file gives no data sources or backtests
- Anyone expecting live data: the file only describes which indicators to collect and does not itself fetch them
- Non-financial users seeking personal financial advice: the skill outputs asset-allocation tilts, which could mislead without professional review
Try asking
- “Assess where China's economy sits in the four-stage cycle using the latest PMI, CPI and PPI readings”
- “Interpret the latest FOMC statement and tell me whether the Fed sounds hawkish or dovish”
- “Give me a macro environment assessment with a data snapshot and suggested asset tilts for the next six months”
- “Explain how PBOC tools like RRR cuts and LPR changes would affect equities and bonds”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Supply current indicator values yourself or with another data tool, since this skill does not fetch data and its thresholds may be outdated
- Treat the cycle stage and asset tilts as a starting hypothesis and check them against your own research and risk limits
- Ask for the reasoning behind each threshold so you can judge whether it fits current conditions
