What it does

Once installed, the agent helps ops teams write company procedures (SOPs) and incident runbooks in a consistent 5W2H structure, and checks existing ones for missing owners, vague success signals, missing rollback paths and escalation contacts. It can also scan an exported wiki (Notion, Confluence, Obsidian or a folder of markdown) to find orphan pages, stale pages and inconsistent glossary terms, and produce a ranked list of what to fix first. It bundles three Python scripts that do the scoring deterministically, and the agent interprets and explains their output.

Get better results

  • Export your wiki to markdown first and point kb_ingester.py at that folder; add an owner: field to page frontmatter for accurate missing-owner results.
  • Give runbooks as JSON with explicit fields for each step; the markdown parser is heuristic and expects '## Step N:' headings.
  • Treat a validity score below 60 as a hard stop and review the MUST-FIX list with the process owner before relying on the procedure.
