What it does
This skill makes the agent review a code change for user-interface problems it introduced or made worse, such as accessibility, layout, writing, typography, color and UI issues. It works out which change to review (a pull request, branch, or uncommitted work), finds the screens that change affects, reads the removed lines as well as the added ones, and labels each finding as newly introduced, a regression, or already present before the change. It hands the actual severity rules and final verdict to a companion skill called better-interface.
Great for
- Developers who want a second look at a pull request's UI impact before merging
- Front-end teams checking that a design token or shared component change did not break other screens
- Reviewers who want findings limited to what a change caused rather than the whole codebase
Skip it if
- Whole-app design audits, since the skill is scoped to a change and defers repository-wide audits to another skill
- Correctness, security or performance review, which the skill explicitly leaves to general code review
- Teams without the companion better-interface skill installed, since the skill stops and reports scope only without it
Try asking
- “/interface-review pr 482”
- “Review my uncommitted changes for accessibility and layout regressions”
- “Check the last commit for UI problems it introduced”
- “Review this branch's interface changes against main”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Name a target explicitly, such as a PR number or branch, to avoid the agent guessing the wrong change
- Make sure the companion better-interface skill is installed first, or the review stops after reporting scope
- Expect rendered visual checks to be marked Not verified unless the project offers a preview or you ask for one
