What it does

This skill is a set of written instructions that tells an AI agent how to maintain the navigation index of an LLM Wiki (a folder of markdown knowledge pages). When asked, the agent walks the wiki's directory tree, adds links to pages that exist but are missing from the index, removes entries for deleted pages, and writes one-line summaries taken from each page's own text. It then records counts in the wiki's log file. It is designed not to edit the content of any page.

Great for

  • Teams running an LLM Wiki plugin in Paperclip who need the index kept current
  • Maintainers who want an audit trail of index changes in wiki/log.md
  • Builders studying how an agent skill can be scoped to specific files and tools

Skip it if

  • People who do not use the Paperclip LLM Wiki plugin, since the workflow depends on its operation issues, wikiId and spaceSlug fields and wiki_* tools
  • Anyone expecting it to fix broken links, resolve contradictions or write new content; the skill explicitly defers those to a separate wiki-lint step

Try asking

  • “Refresh the index for the space with wikiId abc123 following the index operation issue”
  • “Reconcile wiki/index.md after several pages were deleted and add entries for new pages”
  • “Run an index refresh and log the added and removed counts”
Step-by-step guide: how to use LLM Wiki Index RefreshInstall, first run, examples, tips and FAQs

Install in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Download the skill

    The ZIP contains the 1 original files, the MIT licence and an attribution note.

    index-refresh.zip
  2. 2

    Add it to your agent

    Claude Code (all projects)

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip index-refresh.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/

    Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip index-refresh.zip -d .claude/skills/

    Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

    No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Give the agent the operation issue with the correct wikiId and spaceSlug, since the skill refuses to sweep other spaces unless told to.
  • Review the appended wiki/log.md entry after each run to confirm the added and removed counts match what changed.
  • Pages without a clear first paragraph will be flagged for wiki-lint rather than summarised, so write clear opening sentences in your pages.
