What it does

This skill lets an AI agent act as a follow-up assistant for work tracked in Paperclip, a task and company management system. When you ask about a task, the agent finds it by ID or by a title or number you give, then reads its status, documents and deliverables so it can report verified results and any blockers rather than guessing. When you ask it to give feedback, it posts a comment on the task under your name, and it can set up event subscriptions for status changes, comments or document updates if your host app supports them.

Great for

  • Team members who track AI or human work in Paperclip and want status updates without opening the web interface
  • Managers who want feedback added to specific tasks with clear attribution to the person who requested it
  • Users of a Paperclip connection in an agent host that supports MCP Events and wants monitored tasks

Skip it if

  • Anyone without a Paperclip account and connected company, since every action depends on that connection
  • Approving decisions: the skill explicitly leaves approvals to Paperclip's linked interface, so it cannot be used for that
  • Unattended monitoring in hosts without Events support, which the skill says it must not claim to provide

Try asking

  • “What's the progress on the 'Q3 pricing page' task?”
  • “Find the deliverables for task 42 and summarize what was produced.”
  • “Add feedback to the onboarding email task asking for a shorter subject line.”
  • “Monitor task 'Launch checklist' and tell me when it moves to done or blocked.”

    follow-up-results.zip
  2. 2

    Add it to your agent

    Claude Code (all projects)

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip follow-up-results.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/

    Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip follow-up-results.zip -d .claude/skills/

    Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

    No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Give a task title or number and let the agent search for the exact ID; do not paste UUIDs yourself.
  • Before requesting feedback, ask for a progress check first so the comment is based on current deliverables.
  • Only request monitoring if your host supports MCP Events; otherwise ask for periodic checks instead.
