What it does

This skill teaches an AI agent to use a command-line tool that talks to Zoom's REST API. Once installed, the agent can create, list, update and delete Zoom meetings, register or remove participants (including batch registration from a CSV file), check who attended a past meeting, and list, download or delete cloud recordings. It is designed so the agent can request machine-readable JSON output and read results reliably.

Great for

  • Developers or ops staff who want to script routine Zoom meeting and recording tasks
  • Event organisers who need to register many participants from a CSV file
  • Teams that want an AI assistant to look up attendance or fetch recordings

Skip it if

  • Anyone without a Zoom account and OAuth app credentials, since every command depends on authenticated access to Zoom
  • Deleting recordings or meetings in an automated run without review, because the delete commands are destructive and cannot be undone from the skill itself
  • Users who do not want credentials stored on their machine, since login saves OAuth tokens locally

Try asking

  • “Create a Zoom meeting for Thursday at 3pm called Product sync and give me the join link”
  • “List the participants who attended last week's all-hands meeting”
  • “Register everyone in participants.csv for the webinar with meeting ID 123456789”
  • “Show me the cloud recordings for my meeting from last month and download the MP4 file”

Install in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Download the skill

    The ZIP contains the 1 original files, the Apache-2.0 licence and an attribution note.

    cli-anything-zoom.zip
  2. 2

    Add it to your agent

    Claude Code (all projects)

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip cli-anything-zoom.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/

    Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip cli-anything-zoom.zip -d .claude/skills/

    Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

    No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Run the auth status command before asking for meeting or recording actions to confirm the login is still valid
  • Ask the agent to use JSON output so results can be parsed, and to check return codes on failure
  • Review the delete and remove commands before confirming, since they cannot be reversed by the agent
