What it does

This skill teaches an AI agent to operate Tigris, a cloud file storage service, through a command-line wrapper. Once installed, the agent can list and create storage buckets, upload and download files, generate temporary sharing links, take point-in-time snapshots, and create or revoke scoped access keys. It works by calling the official tigris command-line tool and returning machine-readable JSON output.

Great for

  • Developers who already use Tigris storage and want an agent to handle routine file operations
  • Teams that want to give each automated agent run its own bucket-limited access key
  • Engineers who need snapshot-before-change workflows for bucket maintenance

Skip it if

  • Users of AWS S3, Cloudflare R2, MinIO or other storage: the skill explicitly does not manage those endpoints
  • Anyone unwilling to grant an agent destructive permissions: bucket and key deletion and key rotation are available, so mistakes can cause data loss or lockouts unless the agent is supervised
  • Users without a Tigris account and login, since the skill cannot do anything without authentication

Try asking

  • “List my Tigris buckets and show how much is in each one”
  • “Take a snapshot of my-bucket named baseline-v1, then upload the new reports folder”
  • “Create a Tigris access key limited to the Editor role on my-bucket for this agent run”
  • “Generate a presigned download link for path/to/file.txt that expires in one hour”

Install in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Download the skill

    The ZIP contains the 1 original files, the Apache-2.0 licence and an attribution note.

    cli-anything-tigris.zip
  2. 2

    Add it to your agent

    Claude Code (all projects)

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip cli-anything-tigris.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/

    Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip cli-anything-tigris.zip -d .claude/skills/

    Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

    No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Ask the agent to take a snapshot before any delete, rotate, or bulk change, and confirm the --yes step yourself before it runs
  • Create a dedicated access key per agent run scoped to one bucket, and delete it when the run ends
  • Use --json output in scripts; the agent should read stderr and non-zero exit codes for errors
