What it does
Once installed, the agent can operate a JumpServer bastion host, a server that controls privileged access to other machines, through a command-line harness. It can log in, list and create assets, users and permissions, view or change stored account secrets, review session recordings and command history, and read audit logs. It supports one-shot commands and an interactive mode, and keeps a stored session token between commands.
Great for
- System administrators who already run a JumpServer bastion and want an agent to handle routine lookups and changes
- Security or compliance staff who need to pull audit, session, or command records quickly
- Teams automating user and permission provisioning with a dry-run check first
Skip it if
- Anyone without an existing JumpServer deployment, since the skill only talks to a live JumpServer API
- Unattended automation on production bastions without review, because it can create, delete, and reveal credentials and kill sessions
- Environments where agents must not see passwords, because the secret view command returns account passwords
Try asking
- “Log in to our JumpServer at https://jump.example.com and list all Linux assets in the production node”
- “Create a permission giving the ops user group access to the staging database assets, after a dry run”
- “Show the audit login logs for the last week and list any locked users to unblock”
- “List risky commands recorded in session 1234 for user alice”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Use --dry-run on create, update, and delete commands to preview changes before applying them
- Use --insecure only for test instances; keep TLS verification on for production
- Limit the account used by the agent to the minimum roles needed, and avoid giving it secret-viewing rights unless required
