What it does
Once installed, the agent answers people-leadership questions the way a seasoned Chief People Officer would: hiring plans tied to business goals, salary bands and equity design, spans of control and management layers, and retention and performance practices. It uses reference guides for each area and can run two included Python scripts that build a headcount and cost plan and benchmark pay against sample market data.
Great for
- Founders or small leadership teams at growing companies without a dedicated HR leader
- HR or people-ops staff who want a structured starting framework for comp bands or hiring plans
- Students learning how people strategy and compensation design work
Skip it if
- Legal or compliance decisions such as termination, discrimination claims, or jurisdiction-specific pay transparency rules, which need a qualified employment lawyer; the skill does not cite law.
- Real salary decisions based only on the built-in sample data, which is not live market data and may not match your region or role.
- Large enterprises with established HR systems, since the frameworks are written for startups under about 50 to 300 people.
Try asking
- “Build a quarterly headcount plan for the next 12 months with cost projections for five engineering and sales hires.”
- “Set up salary bands with P25, P50 and P75 anchors for our three functions across two location zones.”
- “Design a manager layer for our team, which has grown past 30 people with no managers.”
- “Our regrettable attrition is rising; help me analyse exit patterns and propose a retention plan.”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Replace the built-in sample market data with your own benchmark data before using any salary output, and check it against local pay transparency rules.
- Review the scripts before running them, since they execute on your machine; the code shown reads optional local JSON and CSV only.
- Treat the performance distribution and metric targets as generic starting points and calibrate them to your company's own history.
