What it does
When installed, the agent answers strategic data-leadership questions the way a chief data officer would: whether training a model on customer data is allowed and how risky it is, whether a startup should pick a warehouse, lakehouse or data mesh, how to value customer data for fundraising or acquisition, and which data role to hire next. It bundles reference frameworks and three small Python tools that score a described data inventory, company profile or customer corpus and return a recommendation. It explicitly does not cover hands-on data engineering.
Great for
- Founders or early leaders at startups who lack a chief data officer and need a structured decision framework
- Teams deciding whether they can use customer or scraped data to train or fine-tune models
- Startups preparing data assets for fundraising or M&A diligence
Skip it if
- Tactical data engineering such as writing schemas, queries or pipelines; the skill itself redirects to other tools for that
- Legal decisions: the audit script states it is not legal advice, so consent and copyright conclusions need qualified counsel
- Large enterprises with complex governance, since the stage-based heuristics are written for startups
Try asking
- “Can we fine-tune our model on customer support tickets that were only covered by our terms of service?”
- “Should a 5-person startup with 8 data consumers adopt a lakehouse or stay with a warehouse?”
- “Value our B2B sales-engagement corpus of 380 customers for a Series B fundraise.”
- “Which should we hire next, an analytics engineer or a data scientist?”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Describe your data sources with their consent origin and data class explicitly; vague inputs produce vague GO/NO-GO results.
- Treat script outputs as structured prompts for discussion with counsel and your finance team, not as final legal or valuation opinions.
- Review the embedded sample inputs first to understand which fields the scripts expect before supplying your own JSON.
