What it does
Once installed, the agent acts like a product manager when you ask for a feature spec. It takes a high-level feature idea and its parent epic and produces a Markdown PRD with sections for goals, personas, user stories, functional and non-functional requirements, acceptance criteria, and out-of-scope items. If key information is missing, it is instructed to ask clarifying questions first. The file is a prompt template only; it does not run code or connect to any service.
Great for
- Product managers drafting feature specs from an existing epic
- Engineering teams who want a consistent PRD structure before writing a technical spec
- Students learning how product requirements documents are organised
Skip it if
- Teams that need a validated, company-specific PRD process: the template is generic and may not match internal standards or required approvals
- Anyone expecting the PRD to be correct without review, since the output is generated text and can contain invented details about metrics or users
Try asking
- “Write a PRD for a bulk CSV export feature under our 'Reporting revamp' epic”
- “Create a feature PRD for in-app notifications, including user stories and acceptance criteria”
- “Draft the out-of-scope section and non-functional requirements for a new SSO login feature”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Paste the parent epic text and a short feature description so the agent has real context rather than guessing.
- Answer the clarifying questions the agent asks; the output quality depends on them.
- Review the generated metrics and personas against your own data before sharing the PRD with engineering.
