What it does
This skill teaches an AI agent how to manage the connections between Arize (an AI observability platform) and large language model providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Vertex AI, Gemini and NVIDIA NIM. Once installed, the agent can run the ax command-line tool to list, look up, create, update or delete these stored provider connections, which other Arize features such as evaluators use to call a judge model. It also gives troubleshooting steps for common errors, such as missing profiles or API keys.
Great for
- Engineers who run LLM evaluations in Arize and need to register a provider key
- Platform or data teams that manage shared LLM credentials across Arize spaces
- Users who already use the ax CLI and want the agent to handle integration setup
Skip it if
- People without an Arize account, since every command needs a configured Arize profile
- Anyone wanting to paste provider API keys into an agent chat, because keys end up in shell commands and transcripts; store them via ax profiles or a secrets manager instead
- Tasks unrelated to Arize, where the skill adds no value
Try asking
- “List the AI integrations in my Arize workspace called production”
- “Create an Anthropic integration in Arize using my API key from the environment”
- “Set up an Azure OpenAI integration for our evaluators with the endpoint https://my-resource.openai.azure.com/”
- “Delete the old OpenAI integration I no longer use”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Run ax ai-integrations list first so the agent reuses an existing integration instead of creating duplicates
- Reference keys through environment variables rather than pasting them into chat, and review each command before the agent runs it
- Use --space with list, get, update and delete only; create does not accept it because integrations are account-scoped
