What it is
GEO-SEO Claude is a set of commands and sub-skills that run inside Claude Code to check how well a website is set up to appear in AI-powered search answers, such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews. It also covers traditional SEO basics like technical health and structured data. People use it to get a scored audit with a prioritized action list, and to produce client-ready markdown or PDF reports.
- Run /geo audit on a site to get a composite GEO score out of 100 with quick wins
- Check which AI crawlers are allowed or blocked in robots.txt with /geo crawlers
- Score page content for citation readiness with /geo citability
- Generate or analyze an llms.txt file with /geo llmstxt
- Produce a PDF report with charts using /geo report-pdf
Great for
- Website owners who want to understand their visibility in AI search answers
- SEO or marketing freelancers preparing audits for clients
- Developers already using Claude Code who want SEO checks inside their workflow
- Anyone checking whether their robots.txt allows AI crawlers
Not ideal for
- People who do not use Claude Code, since the commands run inside it
- Users wanting a hosted web tool with no local setup
- Anyone expecting guaranteed rankings; the README describes scores and recommendations, not results

Get the most out of it
- Use /geo citability on key articles to find passages that are too short or too long for AI citation
- Check /geo crawlers to decide which AI bots to allow in robots.txt
- Use /geo schema to generate JSON-LD templates for Organization, Article, or Product pages
- Use /geo report-pdf to turn audit results into a client-facing document
- Use /geo compare for monthly progress tracking, per the README's description

Strengths
- Covers both AI search and traditional SEO checks in one tool
- Installs its Python dependencies in an isolated virtual environment
- Includes JSON-LD schema templates for common site types
Trade-offs
- Requires Claude Code and Python 3.10+, so setup is not trivial for non-developers
- Some README claims, such as market statistics, are cited figures rather than verified by the project and should be checked
- The README is truncated, so some details of scoring and output are not fully confirmed
