What it is

PM Skills Marketplace is a collection of about 69 product management skills and 42 chained workflows, grouped into 9 installable plugins. Each skill packages a PM framework, such as opportunity solution trees or assumption prioritization, so an AI assistant can walk you through a task step by step. It is designed mainly for Claude Code and Claude Cowork, with the skill files also usable by some other AI tools.

  • Run a full product discovery cycle with the /discover command
  • Build an Opportunity Solution Tree from an outcome you define
  • Draft a PRD using the /write-prd command
  • Design a product metrics dashboard with a North Star metric
  • Create a customer interview script with jobs-to-be-done probing questions

Great for

  • Product managers who want structured help with discovery, prioritization, and PRDs
  • Teams using Claude Code or Claude Cowork who want shared PM workflows
  • Non-developers who want a point-and-click install through Claude Cowork
  • Students learning product management frameworks in an interactive way

Not ideal for

  • People who want a standalone app or traditional software tool, since it runs inside AI assistants
  • Users of AI tools other than Claude who need slash commands, since those are Claude-specific and not supported elsewhere
  • Anyone expecting the AI to replace their own judgment, since the README frames outputs as guided frameworks rather than final decisions
Step-by-step guide: how to use PM SkillsInstall, first run, examples, tips and FAQs

How to get it

  1. 1

    Install with a package manager

You'll need: Claude Code or Claude Cowork, or Codex CLI

    Add the marketplace (Claude Code)

    claude plugin marketplace add phuryn/pm-skills

    Install a plugin (Claude Code)

    claude plugin install pm-toolkit@pm-skills
  2. 2

    Run it

    • Install the marketplace in Claude Cowork or Claude Code
    • Install one or more of the 9 plugins
    • Type a start command such as /discover, /strategy, or /write-prd
    • Answer the prompts and follow the suggested next commands
  3. 3

Get the most out of it

    • Start with the 'Start Here' commands listed in the README, such as /discover or /write-prd
    • Install whole plugins rather than single skills, because workflows rely on several skills together
    • Let commands suggest next steps after each one completes
    • In Codex, describe the workflow steps in plain language since slash commands do not run there

Downloads

Strengths

  • Packages well-known PM frameworks into guided, step-by-step workflows
  • Installs as whole plugins, so related skills work together
  • MIT licensed and open source with a large community of stars

Trade-offs

  • Commands only run in Claude; Codex installs skills but not slash commands
  • Depends on an AI assistant subscription or setup that is not described in detail in the README
  • Content quality depends on the underlying model and how well your inputs are described
