Good to know
A focused, safe optimiser — it doesn't merge paths, convert shapes or rewrite path commands like SVGO's advanced plugins, so savings are typically 10–60%. Malformed XML is reported rather than guessed at. Previews render through <img>, so scripts never run.

FAQ

Will optimising change how my SVG looks?

The defaults are visually lossless for almost all icons and illustrations. If you see a difference in the preview, increase the precision (decimals) — very small artwork needs more.

Is it safe to open untrusted SVGs here?

Yes. The SVG is never inserted into the page; previews use an <img> with a data URL, where scripts are disabled. The optimiser can also strip scripts and event handlers.

Why keep <title> and <desc>?

Screen readers use them to describe the graphic. Remove them only for purely decorative icons.
