What it does
When you paste a software error or ask a compatibility question, the agent searches developer sources such as GitHub issues, Stack Overflow, Chinese tech communities and official documentation, then summarises prior reports and community workarounds. It is set up to keep exact error text, rank sources, and stop searching once it has a useful answer. It is for debugging discovery only, and its findings are not treated as academic evidence.
Great for
- Developers stuck on a cryptic error message or stack trace
- Anyone checking whether a library version combination is known to break
- People who read Chinese-language technical forums and want bilingual search
Skip it if
- Academic literature review or citations for a paper, because the skill explicitly forbids treating web posts as evidence
- Running or trusting online fixes without checking them yourself, since the skill does not verify workarounds by execution
Try asking
- “Search for "CUDA error: invalid device ordinal" on GitHub and Stack Overflow”
- “Find known issues with a vLLM install failure, including Chinese-language forum posts”
- “Look up React Server Components production lessons from general web sources”
