What it does

This skill makes the agent check whether a set of things you care about (systems, rules, skills, goals, documents or plans) pull in the same direction. It extracts each item's core aims, maps where they reinforce, conflict, duplicate or drift, and produces a short ranked list of recommended changes. It is read-only: it recommends and never edits your files until you approve. With no inputs named, it defaults to the LifeOS set defined in a config file.

Great for

  • Owners of multi-part personal or team systems who want to find contradictions between rules or goals
  • Builders of LifeOS-style agent setups checking that subsystems do not work against each other
  • People reviewing a set of strategy or planning documents for coherence

Skip it if

  • Attacking or stress-testing a single plan, which the SKILL.md routes to other skills, because this skill is not designed for adversarial critique
  • Editing personal goals directly, since the skill routes that to a different skill and only recommends changes here
  • Situations needing a verified judgment without human review, because the SKILL.md says whether a finding is real is a human judgment

Try asking

  • “Are the approval rules, the scheduling rule, and the monitoring layer in harmony?”
  • “Unify these three strategy docs at the paths I give you”
  • “Is LifeOS coherent? Run a harmony check on the default set”
  • “Do these two rule files contradict each other?”
Step-by-step guide: how to use Unify Harmony CheckerInstall, first run, examples, tips and FAQs

Install in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Download the skill

    The ZIP contains the 5 original files, the MIT licence and an attribution note.

    Unify.zip
  2. 2

    Add it to your agent

    Claude Code (all projects)

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip Unify.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/

    Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip Unify.zip -d .claude/skills/

    Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

    No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Name the inputs explicitly (files or paths) so the agent does not fall back to the default LifeOS set
  • Run the bundled CheckReport.ts script on a saved report to check it meets the output format before acting on it
  • Treat each conflict as a claim to verify: check that both sides are quoted from real sources
