What it does
This skill is a small instruction set that tells an AI agent to write out a numbered, step-by-step plan using its built-in task list before it starts creating files, then tick items off as they finish. The plan acts as a visible record of what the agent intends to do and why it is doing things in a certain order. It is a planning habit, not a new capability, and it does not add any tools or external connections.
Great for
- People using the OpenDesign tool who want multi-step design or build tasks to be planned before execution
- Anyone who wants a transparent checklist showing progress through a longer AI-generated project
Skip it if
- Quick one-line questions or small edits, where a plan adds overhead without benefit
- Users who need a guarantee the agent will follow the plan, since this is only an instruction in the system prompt and the agent can still deviate
Try asking
- “Build a landing page for my coffee shop with a hero, menu section and contact form”
- “Create a set of social media banner designs in three sizes and show me the steps first”
- “Design a onboarding flow for a mobile app, planning the screens before generating them”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Ask the agent to show the plan before it begins if you want to review the steps first
- Use it for multi-part requests; skip it for trivial tasks to save time
- Treat the plan as a progress log, but check the finished artifacts yourself since the plan does not verify quality
