What it does
Once installed, the agent takes a rough description of how a process works today (spoken notes, a chat log, or an old document) and produces a structured standard operating procedure or policy. It separates procedures from policies, defines roles, step-by-step actions, checkpoints, exception handling and version history, and delivers the result as a Word document. It asks clarifying questions and flags items still marked TBD for the user to decide.
Great for
- Operations or team leads who need to write down an informal process so it can be followed and audited
- Compliance or HR staff drafting an expense, on-call or access policy with clear roles and escalation paths
- Teams updating an older SOP who need the version history and numbering kept consistent
Skip it if
- Legal or regulatory sign-off: the output is a draft and does not replace review by qualified counsel or a compliance owner
- Setting penalties, approval limits or payment amounts: the skill is instructed to leave these as 'per company policy and local regulations' rather than choose figures
Try asking
- “Write our current expense reimbursement process up as an SOP”
- “Draft an on-call duty policy from this description”
- “Turn this chat log about our customer refund handling into a versioned SOP with checkpoints”
- “Update our v2.3 onboarding SOP and list every change in the version history”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Give the trigger, the end deliverable, the people or job titles involved, and any existing forms before asking for a draft, so fewer clarifying questions are needed.
- Review the list of TBD owners, deadlines and thresholds the agent returns and decide them before publishing the document.
- Have a domain expert check exception-handling rows, since the agent proposes common exceptions the user may not have mentioned.
