What it does

This skill teaches an AI agent a release checklist for browser games built with Three.js or similar web tech. Instead of stopping at a local build, the agent confirms the exact commit, runs tests and production builds, deploys that commit, and then opens the live game in a browser to check that it loads, responds to input, and performs acceptably. It also asks the agent to record a rollback target and close temporary QA resources afterwards.

Great for

  • Developers shipping small or medium browser games who want a repeatable release and smoke-test routine
  • Teams that already have a test suite, build pipeline, and approved browser tooling and want an agent to follow them
  • Anyone who wants release notes and deployment evidence kept separate from local readiness claims

Skip it if

  • Non-developers without an existing deployment setup: the skill assumes a repository, build tooling, and a hosting target already exist, and it does not provide them
  • Projects that are not web games: the description is specific to playable Three.js or web games
  • Teams without a rollback plan or approved browser: the skill refers to a repository-approved browser and rollback target but does not define them, so the agent may need to ask or improvise

Try asking

  • “Release the current integration commit of my Three.js game to production and verify it in the browser”
  • “Run the tests and production build, then deploy and tell me whether the live game loads and responds to input”
  • “Prepare release notes and record the rollback target for this web game deployment”
  • “Clean up any dev servers and QA tabs left from the smoke test once the release is verified”
Step-by-step guide: how to use Ship Web GamesInstall, first run, examples, tips and FAQs

Install in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Download the skill

    The ZIP contains the 2 original files, the MIT licence and an attribution note.

    ship-web-games.zip
  2. 2

    Add it to your agent

    Claude Code (all projects)

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip ship-web-games.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/

    Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip ship-web-games.zip -d .claude/skills/

    Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

    No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Define your project's test, build, deploy, and browser commands in the repository so the agent does not have to guess them
  • Give the agent explicit deployment credentials and scope through your normal secure setup rather than pasting secrets into chat
  • Review the deployment and rollback steps before letting the agent push to a live production environment
