What it does
Once installed as a Claude Code plugin, this skill changes how assistant replies look in the terminal. Diagram-like blocks (flow chains, bar and spark charts, trees, timelines), markdown tables, diffs and labels such as CHANGE, VERIFY and OPEN are drawn as boxes, bars and colours while the answer streams. The stored text stays plain markdown, so the model and transcript are unaffected.
Great for
- Claude Code users who read long answers in the terminal and want diagrams and tables easier to scan
- Developers who want coloured diffs and VERIFY pass/fail marks in assistant output
- Users of the LifeOS system who want the LifeOS closer rule drawn above sign-off lines
Skip it if
- Users who need generated images or diagrams as files (the skill only redraws terminal text, and the description points image work to a separate Art skill)
- Non-terminal or headless use such as -p runs, SDK sessions or chat bridges, where the prompt section is deliberately not added and drawing is not applied
- Anyone wanting the system prompt's marker rules or status line changed, since those live elsewhere (LifeOSHooks and the system prompt)
Try asking
- “Turn on rich drawing and show my last answer's steps as a flow diagram”
- “Draw this list of monthly sales as a horizontal bar chart”
- “Show the proposed change as a diff with green and red lines”
- “Why is my flow diagram not drawn? Check whether the render mod is loaded”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Run the plugin self-test (claude plugin test) from the skill folder if drawings do not appear, and check that the plugin is loaded.
- Ask for a flow, bar, tree or diff fence explicitly so the model writes the syntax the renderer recognises.
- If an answer prints twice, the fix is in the renderer, not in turning the statusline off.
