What it does
This skill gives an AI coding agent a detailed rulebook for changing how review tools (reviewers, refuters, and fix validators) are invoked across runtimes such as Claude Code, OpenCode and Codex. Once installed, the agent is told to keep prompts, evidence, result schemas and budgets in one Go contract, keep adapters thin (they only call the reviewer and return raw output), and treat runtime output as advisory so only Go admission can open a gate. It also supplies a step-by-step rollout plan and an output format for reporting each change.
Great for
- Maintainers of the gentle-ai project working on the RDD review pipeline
- Developers writing or reviewing adapters for AI reviewer runtimes
- Teams wanting an example of a strict architectural contract written as a SKILL.md
Skip it if
- Ordinary users who just want code reviewed: the rules are specific to one project's internal architecture and will not make sense outside it
- Projects without the RDD pipeline or Go provider contract, since the referenced types and functions would not exist and the agent could invent them
Try asking
- “Move the prompt-building logic for the Codex reviewer into the shared Go contract instead of the adapter”
- “Check whether my OpenCode reviewer adapter is parsing JSON or applying its own byte budget, which the rules forbid”
- “Prepare the per-slice report for the Claude and OpenCode cutover, including the bench corpus diff status”

Add it to your agent
Claude Code (all projects)
mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip rdd-advisory-transport.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)
mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip rdd-advisory-transport.zip -d .claude/skills/Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Point the agent at the actual Go files so it can check the named functions against real code rather than guessing
- Use the issue-impact-matrix reference when deciding the status of a specific issue, and remember a maintainer condition in an issue thread overrides its row
- Ask for the output-contract report after each slice so the status fields stay consistent
