What it does

This skill teaches the agent to operate qzcli, a command-line tool for the Qizhi (启智) GPU compute platform. Once installed, the agent can log in, check which compute nodes are free, list running jobs, and submit single, batch, or CPU/Slurm jobs, using commands it learns from the instructions. It is mainly useful when you already have an account on a Qizhi instance and run distributed training or evaluation jobs there.

Great for

  • Researchers or engineers who already have a Qizhi platform account and submit GPU training or evaluation jobs
  • Teams that run parameter sweeps and want batch submission from a JSON config
  • People who prefer asking an agent to check node availability and manage job lists instead of using the web console

Skip it if

  • Anyone without a Qizhi platform account, since the skill cannot reach the service without credentials
  • Use where jobs spend shared or paid compute: the agent can submit real jobs, so a wrong command or a missing --dry-run can consume quota or start work you did not intend

Try asking

  • “Check which compute groups in my workspace have 4 free nodes”
  • “Submit a training job named eval-run with 4 instances using my image, dry-run first”
  • “Run a batch submission from batch_config.json with a 3 second delay”
  • “List my running jobs in workspace MY_WORKSPACE and stop any that failed”

Install in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Download the skill

    The ZIP contains the 1 original files, the MIT licence and an attribution note.

    qzcli.zip
  2. 2

    Add it to your agent

    Claude Code (all projects)

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip qzcli.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/

    Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip qzcli.zip -d .claude/skills/

    Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

    No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Run qzcli res -u once after joining a workspace so names resolve, and use --dry-run before any real submission
  • Store credentials in ~/.qzcli/.env with restricted file permissions rather than typing passwords into commands, which can end up in shell history
  • Review the qzcli_tool source on GitHub before installing, since this skill depends on a third-party package that the agent will run
