What it does
This skill is a template for a daily inbox summary inside the Open Orbit app. It is meant to be run automatically by Orbit's scheduler when Gmail is the user's only connected source. It reads recent Gmail activity such as replies awaited, mentions, cc'd messages and bulk mail, then lays out the result as a single mock Gmail page showing a digest email, grouped into sections for items needing action, worth noticing, and for information only. The skill says it must copy the bundled example.html design closely and avoid adding extra UI.
Great for
- People who use Gmail as their main inbox and want a daily summary inside Orbit
- Orbit users who have set Gmail as their only connected connector
- Designers or developers evaluating how Orbit renders digest templates
Skip it if
- Users who want to trigger a briefing by hand: the skill says it should not be triggered manually, so it may not behave as expected outside Orbit's scheduler
- Anyone expecting a real Gmail client or a tool that sends or changes email: the files describe only reading and rendering a summary
- Sensitive inboxes if you are unsure what Orbit stores or sends: the skill reads live email content through an authenticated connection, so review Orbit's data handling first
Try asking
- “Generate today's Open Orbit Gmail briefing from my last 24 hours of mail”
- “Show me the Orbit daily digest email for yesterday's Gmail activity”
- “Make an email summary of unanswered replies and mentions in my inbox”
