What it does
Once installed, the agent checks important pages (homepage, landing pages, product pages, top blog posts) for settings that tell search engines not to index them, such as noindex meta tags, X-Robots-Tag HTTP headers, and overly broad robots.txt Disallow rules. It then suggests specific fixes for common frameworks and servers and reminds you to confirm indexing in Google Search Console.
Great for
- SEO specialists investigating a sudden drop in organic traffic
- Front-end or web developers reviewing a site before or after a launch or staging-to-production move
- Site owners checking CMS settings that control indexing by page or category
Skip it if
- Sites where pages should intentionally stay out of search, since the skill pushes toward removing blocks and could weaken privacy or draft controls if applied blindly
- Content quality or keyword strategy questions, because the skill only covers technical indexing blocks
- Anyone expecting the agent to change live settings automatically; the skill describes checks and fixes but does not connect to Search Console itself
Try asking
- “Audit my homepage and top product pages for noindex tags or robots.txt blocks”
- “Why is my blog post not showing up in Google Search? Check for indexing problems”
- “Review our CMS category settings to make sure no important pages are set to noindex”
- “Check our staging-to-production launch for accidental X-Robots-Tag headers”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Provide the specific URLs or a sitemap so the agent checks real pages rather than guessing.
- Share your framework or hosting setup (for example Next.js, Nginx, Vercel) to get the matching fix instructions.
- Confirm final indexing status yourself in Google Search Console, since the agent cannot verify Google's index directly from these files.
