What it does
This skill teaches an AI agent to produce a research presentation as one self-contained web page (HTML slides) styled like a LaTeX academic paper: white background, serif type, numbered figure and table captions, citation markers and a keyboard-navigable slide show. It starts from a provided example file and replaces its content with the user's own research material, and asks for the audience, goal and source materials first. The example topic is compositional generalization in large language models.
Great for
- Researchers or lab members preparing a literature review talk for a PI, lab group or reviewers
- Students who want a clean, academic-looking slide deck built from their own notes
- Anyone who wants a locked visual style so the agent does not improvise colours or fonts
Skip it if
- Projects needing a brand or marketing look, since the palette and fonts are fixed to a paper style
- Presentations whose claims must be verified: the agent writes content and can overclaim novelty unless the user checks sources
- Users who need an editable PowerPoint file, since the output is HTML
Try asking
- “Make a review deck on my thesis topic from these notes, with figures and a references slide”
- “Turn my paper's abstract and results table into a 10-slide academic talk in this style”
- “Create a slide plan and critic pass for a grant review presentation on my research area”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Provide your own source material and must-keep numbers up front so the agent does not invent figures or citations.
- Check every citation and statistic in the generated deck against the original sources before presenting.
- Ask the agent to run the critic pass on overclaiming so claims about novelty are tempered.
