What it does

This skill teaches an AI agent a basic SEO rule: pages should link onward to related pages in their main body text, so search engine crawlers and visitors are not stuck on a page with nowhere to go. Once installed, when asked, the agent checks a site's pages for weak internal linking (fewer than two contextual links in the main content), suggests topically related pages to link to, and reviews content templates that produce link-free pages. The files describe the checks and fixes in prose and a short code-review outline; they do not include a ready-made program.

Great for

  • SEO specialists reviewing a content site for crawlability and internal linking
  • Developers or content editors who maintain blog or article templates
  • Site owners with many standalone or thin pages who want a prioritised list of link fixes

Skip it if

  • Sites where the agent cannot access the page HTML or a crawl export, since the checks need rendered markup to count links
  • Pages that should intentionally have few links, such as checkout, login or legal pages, where adding links may hurt the user flow
  • Any task requiring verified SEO outcomes: the rule is a general guideline and the skill does not measure rankings or traffic

Try asking

  • “Audit the internal links in the main content of my blog and list pages with fewer than two links”
  • “Suggest related articles to add to these five thin product pages”
  • “Review our CMS article template and tell me if it produces pages with no contextual links”
  • “Write a 'See also' section for this CSS Grid tutorial linking to related pages on my site”

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Give the agent the rendered HTML or a crawl export, not just a URL, so it can count links inside the main or article element.
  • Ask it to exclude shared header and footer navigation, as the skill instructs, to get meaningful counts.
  • Review suggested links for relevance before publishing; the skill proposes topical matches but cannot judge your editorial goals.
