What it does

This skill helps a video creator keep track of what they have filmed but not yet published. When the user says they shot a video, the agent checks that a prediction was written before filming, creates a folder for the video, and asks whether the script actually used matches the planned draft. If the script changed a lot, the agent asks the prediction step to re-score it, keeping the original prediction on file. It then updates a shared state file that tracks the filmed-but-unpublished queue and reports how many videos are waiting.

Great for

  • Solo video creators who batch-film and publish on a schedule
  • Creators who want to compare their planned script with what they actually filmed
  • Teams that track a pipeline of filmed videos before publishing

Skip it if

  • Users who do not write predictions before filming: the skill refuses to log a shoot without a prior prediction file, which is by design
  • Anyone expecting it to edit or publish videos: it only records state and coordinates other skills, and the SKILL.md does not show it touching the video itself

Try asking

  • “I just shot the video for scripts/2026-05-04_abc123_stop-expecting.md”
  • “拍了 abc123”
  • “Log this shoot; I changed some of the script while filming, so please re-score it”
  • “What is my current buffer of filmed videos?”

    cheat-shoot.zip
  2. 2

    Add it to your agent

    Claude Code (all projects)

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip cheat-shoot.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/

    Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip cheat-shoot.zip -d .claude/skills/

    Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

    No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Always write the prediction before you film; the skill will refuse otherwise.
  • Keep the actual shooting script, even as a voice memo transcript, so the skill can compare it and trigger a re-score.
  • Say the shot phrase with the video ID (for example 'shot abc123') to log several videos in a row.
