What it does
This skill teaches an AI agent how to operate BrowserWing, a browser automation tool that runs on your own machine. Once installed, the agent can set up Google Chrome, add an LLM API configuration, ask an AI to explore a website and produce a replayable script, and create, run, or export scripts through BrowserWing's local HTTP API at localhost:8080. It is a how-to guide with ready-made curl commands rather than a standalone tool.
Great for
- Developers who already run BrowserWing and want an agent to manage its scripts
- Data or operations people automating repetitive web tasks such as searches or data pulls
- Teams that want to export browser scripts as SKILL.md files for other agents
Skip it if
- Anyone who does not already have BrowserWing installed, since the skill only documents its API and does not install the platform itself
- Use on shared or production machines without care, because the commands send LLM API keys and can control a real browser that may be logged into accounts
- Sites whose terms forbid automated access, since the AI explorer can act on live websites
Try asking
- “Install Google Chrome and check that BrowserWing can reach it”
- “Add an OpenAI config and test it against BrowserWing's LLM endpoint”
- “Start an AI exploration that searches a site and saves the generated script”
- “List my saved scripts and export the selected ones as a SKILL.md”

Ask for the task
No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.
Get better results
- Store LLM API keys in BrowserWing rather than pasting them into chat, and rotate them if they were exposed in a transcript
- Point the agent at a test or disposable browser profile before letting it run exploration tasks on real accounts
- Review AI-generated scripts with the script details endpoint before saving or re-running them
