What it does

When you ask the agent to write a blog post, this skill makes it follow a structured process instead of writing in one go. It creates a project folder, gathers and summarises your sources, proposes a brainstorm and outline for your approval, then writes a draft with inline citations and a source list. You review, and the draft is revised into numbered versions (v0.1, v0.2 and so on) until you approve it. The instructions are written in Ukrainian.

Great for

  • Writers who want help researching and structuring a post rather than a one-shot generated article
  • Content teams that need traceable citations for statistics and claims
  • Anyone who wants to keep a versioned history of drafts

Skip it if

  • Quick social posts or short copy, because the multi-step approval process is heavy for that (slow, not risky)
  • Publishing facts without checking them: the skill asks the agent to cite sources, but it can still misquote or invent references, so verify every citation before publishing

Try asking

  • “Write a blog post about remote work productivity using these two articles as sources”
  • “Update my existing blog post draft in blog-posts/2025-03-01-api-design with a more casual tone”
  • “Turn my research notes on solar panel costs into a 1200-word blog outline”
Step-by-step guide: how to use Blog Post Draft WorkflowInstall, first run, examples, tips and FAQs

Install in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Download the skill

    The ZIP contains the 3 original files, the MIT licence and an attribution note.

    blog-draft.zip
  2. 2

    Add it to your agent

    Claude Code (all projects)

    mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && unzip blog-draft.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/

    Claude Code / Agent SDK (this project only)

    mkdir -p .claude/skills && unzip blog-draft.zip -d .claude/skills/

    Claude apps (web/desktop): Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, and choose the ZIP.

  3. 3

    Ask for the task

    No special command needed — the agent reads the skill's description and loads it when your request matches. Try one of the prompts above.

Get better results

  • Provide your sources (URLs or files) and target audience up front, since the skill asks for them and gives better drafts with them
  • Check the git step: it commits and pushes to a remote, so run it in a repo where that is acceptable
  • Review the cited sources yourself before publishing, since the agent may still paraphrase or misattribute a figure
