For a timelapse the camera is locked and the world changes; for a hyperlapse the camera travels in steps. Say which. State the start and end state so the model knows how much time passes.
{{lapse_type}} of {{scene}}. Time passes from {{start_state}} to {{end_state}} over the course of the shot. Camera: {{camera}}. Motion: {{moving_elements}} move fast; fixed structures stay perfectly still and sharp. Lighting: transitions smoothly from {{start_state}} light to {{end_state}} light with no flicker. Style: photoreal, high detail, natural colour. Duration {{duration}}, aspect ratio {{aspect_ratio}}. Avoid: text, captions, watermarks, logos, extra limbs or fingers, warped faces, flicker, sudden cuts, buildings shifting or morphing, exposure pumping.
Example input
Day-to-night timelapse of a coastal skyline from a hill, tripod, clouds and traffic trails; 8s; 16:9.
Example output
Day-to-night timelapse of a coastal city skyline seen from a hilltop. Time passes from late afternoon to full night with city lights over the course of the shot. Camera: locked-off on a tripod, wide lens. Motion: clouds, traffic light trails and boats in the harbour move fast; fixed structures stay perfectly still and sharp. Lighting: transitions smoothly from late afternoon light to full night with city lights light with no flicker. Style: photoreal, high detail, natural colour. Duration 8 seconds, aspect ratio 16:9. Avoid: text, captions, watermarks, logos, extra limbs or fingers, warped faces, flicker, sudden cuts, buildings shifting or morphing, exposure pumping.
Troubleshooting
- Buildings morph during the transition: shorten the time span (e.g. sunset to dusk only).
- Nothing speeds up: name the moving elements explicitly and add 'fast-motion' or 'time-lapse' at the very start.
Known limitations
- Long day-to-night transitions are hard for models to keep stable; real timelapse footage is more reliable for hero shots.
